Biography
Steve Finke is the owner of Meadow View Beekeeping, LLC. which operates from his home in Kutztown, PA and his apiary/honey packing facility in Bethel, PA. He began beekeeping as a hobby in 2008 and is now a full-time beekeeper and maintains approximately 80-100 honey bee colonies around the Lehigh Valley and Berks County. His company offers beekeeping hardware and supplies through a dealership Mann Lake, LTD., package bees and nucs, quality honey bee queens from local and purchased stock, retail and wholesale local and varietal honeys, beeswax candles, and glass and plastic honey bottles and containers through a dealership with Gamber Container, Inc. In 2015, his company took ownership of the former Keeney & Ziegler Apiaries, a long established apiary and honey packing facility located in Bethel, PA. In addition, Steve served for 6 years as the president of the Lehigh Valley Beekeepers Association where he is still a member of the Executive Board and served for 9 years as VP in the PA State Beekeepers Association and is an active member of the PA Apiary Advisory Board.
